The Use-Case Discovery Workshop changes that. It takes every candidate use case your leadership team can identify, scores each one across five structured dimensions, and produces a clear recommendation: one well-defined pilot that your organisation can actually deliver.

What Is Included

Understanding your business first, then a focused session to find the right first move:

  • Pre-workshop intake call: where the business stands today, including your AI Readiness Assessment results if you have already completed one, and where the biggest constraint currently sits
  • A facilitated half-day workshop, held once we already understand enough to make it count: structured exploration of where AI could deliver real value, focused on finding the opportunity that is easiest to act on and most likely to show a return within about six months
  • Scoring of each candidate use case across five dimensions: strategic impact, data readiness, implementation complexity, time to results, and risk
  • Pilot design for the top-ranked candidate: a clear brief, an agreed success definition, and an implementation path
  • An implementation roadmap and action plan for the chosen use case: what needs to happen, in what order, and who owns each step

Time is spent understanding where the business stands before the workshop ever happens, including your AI Readiness Assessment results if you have completed one, so the session itself goes straight to finding the right opportunity. Once that opportunity is chosen, you leave with a roadmap for putting it in place and a clear action plan for what happens next.

Once the scoring is done, we walk through the ranking together, talk through why each use case landed where it did, and agree which one makes the most sense to pursue first.

  • Use-Case Evaluation Report: scored shortlist with rationale for each candidate
  • Pilot Recommendation Brief: clear brief, pre-agreed success definition, and recommended next steps for the highest-ranked candidate
  • Implementation Roadmap and Action Plan: what needs to happen to put the chosen use case in place, in what order, and who owns each step

Time spent understanding the business first, then a half-day workshop once we are ready to focus in on the right opportunity. Typically two to three weeks from first conversation to a finished roadmap and action plan in hand.

One fixed price covering the preparation, the workshop itself, and the roadmap and action plan that follow it.

Agreed upfront, so there are no surprises, and scoped clearly as a focused piece of work with a defined end point.

Up to 80% of your workshop costs may be covered.

Enterprise Ireland-supported companies in manufacturing or internationally traded services can apply for the Digital Discovery Grant. It funds up to 80% of the cost of digital and AI discovery work, to a maximum of €5,000. The Use-Case Discovery Workshop maps directly to the grant's eligible activities: structured exploration of opportunities to integrate AI into your business operations.
